In This Month’s Issue:
The special Christmas issue of Woodturning is packed full of the usual projects, features and workshop essentials. For the skills and projects articles this month Steven Russell kick starts our three-part pen making series, Nikos Siragas turns a three-cornered bowl, Nick Arnull turns a plain platter and applies three different treatments to the rim, Paul Loseby turns a handy perfume bottle holder and Mick O’Donnell creates some charming outdoor bird ornaments.
Features this month include a profile of American woodturner, Paul Stafford, a special report from the AWGB Seminar at Loughborough, Colin Simpson’s woodturning glossary looks at letters P-R and Donald Derry shares a piece entitled “Horse Dreaming” with us.
As this is our Christmas issue, we have extended our Hot Stuff section by including an extensive array of possible gift ideas that would be suitable for any woodturner. We also have our usual review page where we highlight two DVDs and a book for you to enjoy.
All this and more in Woodturning 207!
